消費者庁から調査の協力依頼を受けたと騙る電子メールについて (注意喚起)
今般、ある調査会社から、複数の事業者に対し、消費者庁から任意の協力依頼を受けたとして、事業者への働きかけを行う電子メールを送付していることが確認されました。
メールには、「【大至急】【有料調査のご提案】」等の件名と併せて、調査会社が消費者庁表示対策課指導係から電話で任意の協力依頼を受けて、No1表示を行っている企業へ順次連絡していること、企業が表示を継続する場合はできるだけ早い段階で根拠を整理することをお勧めすること、調査会社への返信を求めること等が掲載されていました。
消費者庁表示対策課指導係は、事業者がこれから行う企画の事前相談を受け付けており、既に行われた事業者の表示について、相談を受け付けたり、指摘をすることはありません。
消費者及び事業者の皆様におかれましては、ご注意ください。
