Thank you for your e-mail of 24 July 2023 in which you ask for the following information:

Please may you provide me, in Microsoft Excel or an equivalent electronic format, with a list of invoices that were not paid within 30 days for the last 6 financial years (2017/18 to 2022/23 inclusive) which would feed into the Regulation 113 Notice you are required to publish each year as part of your obligations under The Public Contracts Regulations 2015, with the following information for each invoice (where available):

Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I, the Forensic Science Regulator do not hold the information which you have requested.

The Forensic Science Regulator is a public appointee and an arms-length body of government who operates independently, on behalf of the criminal justice system as a whole.

The Regulator is supported by a team of officials known as the Office of the Forensic Science Regulator (OFSR) who work under the direction of the Regulator and are employed by the Home Office.

The Regulator who is independent from the Home Office, is not a budget holder and does not hold any financial information relating to your request of invoices that were not paid within 30 days for the last 6 financial years.

Please note: OFSR officials may be involved in the receipting of completed works. The receipting process enables the supplier to charge for the work. Once receipted, the supplier can then submit an invoice to the Home Office (not the Regulator or OFSR officials) who then complete the payment transaction.
