Thank you for your e-mail of 23 August 2023, in which you ask for in which you ask for information, relating to the number of staff who are allowed to work from abroad. Including the following: 

The information, for the 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 financial years: 

The number of staff, per year, given permission to work from abroad 

For each member of staff granted permission, please provide their pay band, the country they have been allowed to work from, the length of time that they have been allowed to work for and the dates they were allowed to work from abroad.  

Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Forensic Science Regulator is a public appointee and an arms-length body of government who operates independently, on behalf of the criminal justice system as a whole.  

The Regulator is supported by a team of officials known as the Office of the Forensic Science Regulator (OFSR) who work under the direction of the Regulator and are employed by the Home Office. 

The Forensic Science Regulator does not hold the information which you have requested. 

You may wish to consider a separate request to be made to the Home Office under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act should you still require the information you have asked for.
