Finland Pavilion at COP31: Solutions for electrified, low-emission economy

The UN Climate Change Conference COP31 will take place in Antalya, Türkiye on 9–20 November 2026. Finland will bring its own pavilion to the event, showcasing Finnish solutions for a low-emission industry, the renewal of energy systems and sustainable growth. At COP31, a particular focus will be on investments, technologies and cooperation by which climate targets will be put into practice.

Finland Pavilion will introduce solutions developed by Finnish companies concerning electrification, clean energy and a circular economy, and experiences of how these have been taken to international markets. The main partners are Neste and Outokumpu, and Coolbrook, FCDC, Fortum, Gasgrid, Hydrogen Cluster, Mäkelä Alu, Paulig, Puro.earth, TAH Foundation, the Aalto University and the University of Helsinki also contribute to the project. Together, the partners will show how businesses, research and financing can accelerate clean transition solutions from the development phase to adoption on the international scale. Finland Pavilion’s programme will also include events organised by civil society organisations and public authorities.

Finland Pavilion will show how close cooperation between businesses, research and the public sector can turn ideas into solutions and scale them for international use,” Minister of Climate and the Environment Sari Multala says.

“Finnish companies offer technologies, expertise and investments that are needed to reduce emissions from industry and promote clean technologies and the circular economy. COP31 provides excellent opportunities to further increase cooperation and turn the common climate targets into concrete results,” Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio says.
