Cybersecurity Classified by Officially

September’s cyber weather remained unsettled, with sunshine and thunderstorms alongside the rain. Incidents centred on scams, website breaches and critical vulnerabilities in network edge devices.

Several critical vulnerabilities under active exploitation were disclosed in September, affecting products from Cisco, F5, Check Point and GitLab, among others. We also issued our first severe alert of the year concerning critical vulnerabilities in Citrix NetScaler ADC and Gateway products disclosed in late September.
