I have two questions regarding the recent spate of unauthorized access to companies’ systems and leaks of personal information. First, regarding the current situation, is the government aware of any cases in which victims of personal information leaks identified to date at companies in various industries have suffered financial losses? Also, please explain the government’s views and initiatives on how to prevent financial losses to individuals. Second, regarding the situation going forward, does the government currently recognize the risk that these incidents could spread to financial institutions such as banks? Could you also explain the status of measures being taken to prevent this?
